The Park Avenue

We call this baby ‘The Park Avenue’. It is filled with beautiful art and has a very cool East coast vibe. What started out as a primary and guest bath renovation, ended up being the whole house! That happens a lot! Ha!

We have taken this sweet client in as our own. We just adore her and that made the design process so special for us. It allowed us to heighten the overall aesthetic and fabricate so many custom areas that were such a joy to create.

We wanted to give her something rich, beautiful and to bring happiness to every inch of this home.

The open floor concept allows you to walk down the hallway towards the stunning kitchen full of character. We were not afraid to mix painted and stained cabinetry. The first thing you see is the glowing walnut counter-to-ceiling cabinet storing her everyday china. Getouttatown!

We increased the island footprint and chose to make it a centerpiece with the matching walnut cabinetry and finished it with a brass footrest.

We didn’t stop there with the details. We had to make the transition from the kitchen into the walk-in laundry room cohesive and special too.  The custom walnut trim that surrounds this entry paired with the classic black and white marble square tile flooring pulls your attention to the new champagne bar complete with brass and glass shelving. The wallpaper finishes the look and the cane stained pocket door gives you a peek-a-boo view into the laundry room -  the creme dela creme!

The initial goal in her primary bathroom was to include a shower that would be ADA accessible. With this in mind, space planning was key! We removed the outdated corner jacuzzi tub and transformed the footprint into a custom shower with plenty of room, trimmed with custom walnut wood and fluted glass.

We also needed additional storage - so we removed the old walk-in shower insert and filled the existing space with custom cabinetry to store all the things - including the linens.

The guest bathroom went from ordinary to this dreamy blue toned jewel. We decided to add the board and batten to balance the room out paired with this gorgeous wallpaper.

If she ever sells, I told her I’m first in line. ;)
